I made it to Sacramento, CA without breaking down. I’m parked outside the State Capitol, and it’s really warm and stuffy in my van. I might sleep on the lawn.

I don’t know how many stories I will collect the first day, but I’m planning to spend two days in Sac, so that people who see me on the news Thursday can come down and participate on Friday.

Once I have a day available, I will update this website with more stories and photos. Things have been crazy. I’m actually thinking of transcribing a lot of the stories onto this website, instead of just taking photos of the handwriting. We’ll see. It’s all about time at this point.
